ENCINA DANCE RULES
- Encina’s dances are for Encina students in grades 9- 12 and their pre-registered guests only.
- Any student who is not an Encina 9-12th grade student must have a guest pass.
- Only one (1) guest pass per Encina student. Passes must be approved before tickets are purchased.
- A guest must arrive with the student who invited and registered him/her.
- Guests must adhere to all rules stated in the contract. Host student could be held responsible for their guests behavior and receive consequences.
- Guest passes must be submitted to the Ticket Sales table by lunch on February 7th for approval.
Students AND guests must show current picture identification to be admitted.
NO refunds will be given for any reason unless the school is mandated by the San Juan USD or Sacramento County to cancel the dance. Online purchases will get a refund of $5 if dance is cancelled.
Tickets are non-transferrable and can only be used by the person for whom they were originally purchased accompanied by the student ID at the entrance.
Students and guest must enter the Dance by 8:00pm. Doors will close at 8:00pm sharp. No exceptions will be made and refunds will not be given.
Students may leave the dance at any time. However, once a student leaves the dance, he or she may not return. Students must then leave the premises immediately.

- For semi-formal dances: School dress code is enforced at the dance with the following exceptions: Spaghetti straps, strapless dresses, and backless clothing (halters) may be worn, but may not expose midriff or undergarments. Please feel free to bring comfortable shoes in which to change. All attire will be subject to the approval of the administration at the door, and all judgments will be final.

Students are expected to dance appropriately. We want to maintain a safe atmosphere conducive to everyone's enjoyment. The school administration and staff chaperones will use their best judgment to identify dance moves or styles that are contrary to the dance rules. Consequences will be enforced and students will be asked to leave if their conduct is not appropriate.
Tobacco, drugs, alcohol will not be allowed in your vehicle or at the dance.
- All vehicles are subject to search.
- There will be consequences including suspension, expulsion and social probation including exclusion from graduation activities.
Students who are in possession of drugs or alcohol or who are intoxicated at the dance will have severe consequences imposed including suspension, possible expulsion, and social probation including exclusion from graduation activities as well referral to law enforcement.
Students and guests must leave immediately at the conclusion of the dance at 10:00pm.
- Please make sure that your transportation is available at the conclusion of the dance.
- Students are not to loiter at the dance location.
