The Encina Library Media Center welcomes students for study and use of its resources according to our schedule:
Monday - Wednesday: 8 a.m. - 3:40 p.m.
Thursday: 8 a.m. - 2:24 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
On minimum days the library closes at the end of the school day.
On the first Thursday lunch of the month, we have “reading club.” Everyone is invited to join and talk about anything they have been reading.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to support learning, personal growth and self-advancement of the students and staff of Encina Preparatory High School by:

providing access to appropriate and accurate information through print, electronic and personal resources;

Library Policies

Be considerate of others using the Library -- harassing, abusive languages, gestures or behaviors are not allowed.

Treat equipment and materials with care.

Must be 21 years of age to bring food into the library, except on Thursdays.

During class times, a written pass is required to come to the Library and students must sign in.

Students are responsible for replacement cost of materials not returned or damaged.

Checkout period is 3 weeks for most materials with no renewals. Students with overdue materials will not be allowed to check out new materials until their items are returned.
